Our Ottsjö 8K Ica Åre event is an open-for-all, family-friendly event to widen the sport of trail and mountain running and have fun while doing so.
Thursday’s programme with the 8K starting at 18:00 is all about unstoppable support for the 100K athletes and the chance for everyone – all ages, all abilities – to join in the fun.
All the action will be centred in Ottsjö for the whole day with local food producers doing their thing to provide fika, lunch and dinner. We’ll also have various workshops and clinics with friends of Fjällmaraton.
Our fjällmaraton-approved lottery prizes will amount to more than 100,000 SEK in value and these will be distributed at random to everyone that completes the Ottsjö 8K.
THE ROUTE
Start and finish: Ottsjö
Elevation: approx. 150 metres up and down
Trail: Mainly easy-running trails.
THE PRIZES
All prizes will be given out at random.
The fastest male and female on the day will be awarded an additional prize.

24:00 Final 100K participants reaches the finish
