Following either a 27 km or 42 km route across mountains on two clearly marked point-to-point routes, runners and speed hikers have the opportunity to enjoy the rugged Swedish landscape and its amazing local cuisine. This non-competitive event is a ‘feast on the fjälls’, seeing its feed stations (roughly every 7km) stocked with local foods from artisan producers, cooked and served on the mountainside. With the help of Lena Flaten, famous for her restaurant Flammans Skafferi in nearby Storlien, the menu on offer will give a wider insight into the nature that is in abundance in the part of the Swedish north.

With an open start time, you can enjoy the experience to the max without feeling any time pressure.

If you’re planning to hike slowly, however, we recommend starting early.

Both distances start in Edsåsdalen and finish in Ottsjö.
